Brie and Juan (Pines at Genesee~Golden, CO)
Brie and Juan were so wonderful to work with. These two are best friends and so in love. The two were married on a chilly fall day and had an evening ceremony at The Pines at Genesee. The two did a first look and were just in awe of each other. After the two said I do they enjoyed being with family and friends. I asked Brie a few questions about her wedding…
In your words, how did you and Juan meet?
Juan and I went to the same high school but we didn’t meet until I was in college and he was a senior in high school. We were at a mutual friend’s house party and hit it off!
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
My favorite moment of our wedding day was definitely the first look, I was so nervous and happy at the same time, and I loved that we got to share that moment with each other and no one else!
Were there any funny moments to be remembered forever about your day? Were there any mishaps?
One of the funniest moments of the night had to be when our officiant/close pal accidentally tried to cut me off during my vows !! My dad’s speech made me laugh so hard (and also cry so hard). The main mishap of the night was keeping my train pinned to my butt because all of the bustles broke! You were the MVP that night, thank you so much for taking care of it !!
Do you have any advice for a future bride to be/or groom before their wedding?
My advice to the bride or groom-to-be is to relax the morning of and give yourself extra time to get ready so the process isn’t rushed, I wish I could have enjoyed the morning and afternoon a little bit more, but I was driving all over the city trying to wrap up the last details.
