Lauren and Doug (The Manor House~ Littleton, CO)
What a perfect day to say I do. Lauren and Doug were married on a gorgeous November day at The Manor House in Littleton, CO. Lauren started by popping some bubbles with her girls. After the two were dressed and ready to go they did a first look and were in awe of each other. After the two said I do and finished their gorgeous sunset photos they partied the night away. I asked Lauren a couple of questions about her day…
In your words, how did you and Doug meet?
We met on Bumble! Doug swiped right and hit the jackpot 🙂
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
Doug gave the Welcome toast. I knew he had prepared something but he hadn’t shared it with me before hand. True to his personality, it was very funny. But also very sweet.
Were there any funny moments to be remembered forever about your day? Were there any mishaps?
This one might qualify for both a funny and mishap moment – Doug’s 3-year-old niece was our flower girl. She got shy when it was her turn to walk down the aisle so my sister-in-law, in trying to coax her to take her basket of flowers, ending up walking the entire length of the aisle with the flower girl basket in hand.
Do you have any advice for a future bride to be/or groom before their wedding?
I think the best (and most accurate) advice I got was to enjoy every part of the process. It all goes by so fast and the planning can be quite stressful. Don’t sweat the small stuff and have fun with it!
