Winter Wedding in Historic Manor House

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Marissa and Stephen more than I usually get to with my couples. These two got married at the Manor House in a small intimate wedding in December of 2020. In the middle of a pandemic, Marissa and Stephen decided it was time and they tied the knot and started their lives together. However, they always wanted to have a bigger celebration with family and friends! Since they couldn’t do it all at the same time, they planned an amazing celebration for the following year and I was so excited to come back and capture their special day again!

Colorado winters are beautiful and cold! While we didn’t have snow on the ground like last time, it was still a cool and crisp day. Even though they were already married, there was still that perfect moment as Marissa walked down the aisle, and the emotion between them was so sweet. The two were so thankful to have their friends and family together to celebrate their love and commitment to each other.

After the ceremony, we went and took some family and couple photos and then headed inside for their reception. I have to say, my favorite part of the evening was the incredible dance party that ensued! It was such a fun night and I was so grateful to have gotten to capture all of the magic.

Marissa’s advice to brides planning their wedding: Be patient and don’t stress the small stuff. Make a checklist of things to do each month. Lean on individuals who are in the wedding business. They have years of experience and can help.
