Spring Time Raccoon Creek Wedding in Littleton Colorado

Emily and Will’s Raccoon Creek wedding was on an absolutely beautiful spring day, right after a blizzard. There were blossoms on the trees, a little bit of snow on the ground and the sun was shining brightly! These two really honed in all the love and emotion that they had for each other as well as their friends and family. The day started off with getting ready of course. The Barn at Raccoon Creek has a great bridal suite, so there was pleanty of room to get ready and my favorite… great lighting! Emily and Will chose not to have a bridal party. I really like that, as I’m pretty used to weddings with a variety of bridal party sizes. This really let our bride and groom focus on each other, and not get caught up with any of the complications that come with a bridal party.

First Look with Friends & Groom

While they didn’t have a bridal party, they did have a lot of friends and family around to celebrate with them. When Emily was done getting ready, she did a first look with some family and friends in the bridal suite! First looks with friends are always so much, fun… 10/10 recommend getting your hype team around you! After that reveal, we headed outside to do our bride and groom first look. The two read special letters to each other, shed a couple of tears and enjoyed that intimate moment.

Ceremony and Reception at the Barn at Raccoon Creek

Emily walked down an aisle linned with white roses towards her soon-to-be husband! After the couple said “I do!” it was onto the family photos followed by dinner and the reception! We had a blast taking some sunset photos, where Emily and Will danced together. They couldn’t have been more excited that they were finally husband and wife. Towards the end of the evening, the best glowstick dance party ensued, which was possibly the best way to end the night’s celebrations!

I am so thankful they entrusted me to capture this day. I absolutely loved photographing each special moment and am excited for all the good things to come for these two!
