Woodlands Barn Wedding in Morrison Colorado

A Woodlands wedding day is one you won’t soon forget, because of its stunning white barn and beautiful Colorado backdrops. This venue is one that we’re always happy to be back at, because no matter the time of year, Woodlands in Morrison Colorado is the perfect location to say “I do”.

Getting Ready for the Wedding

Surrounded by her best girls and family, the ladies got ready together and we got some fun photos on the beautiful deck of the group. They popped some champagne and celebrated the day! The guys also were a blast as they were getting ready and playing some pool. Once they were all ready it was on to the first look. Alicia and Lance had a special moment in the forest surrounded by tall trees. First looks are always such a sweet moment. It’s a second to let it all soak in, that this entire day is really here and forever is just around the corner.

Ceremony and Reception

With a stunning landscape of large pines and mountains in the backdrop, Alicia and lance said “I do” forever together. They had live music, lots of laughter, and perhaps a couple of tears as they walked through the wedding ceremony together. They included family and friends in the ceremony which made it all the more special to them.

After the ceremony, the couple signed the marriage certificate, and then we went out to take all the family, bridal party, and couple photos! This group was such a blast. We headed out to the forest with a couple of bottles of champagne and the bridal party. There was constant laughter as they did all the poses for me. Finally, we popped some bottles and celebrated with some fun pictures at the end!

The reception was held in The Woodland’s big white barn, and everyone gathered together for the grand entrance of the bridal party and the bride and groom. Alicia and Lance had their first dance, and then we moved on to dinner and the rest of the festivities. They had PULSE for their reception music, and I’ve gotta say there is something about a live band that just takes a wedding reception to the next level. They partied and celebrated the entire night long!
