Wedding at Wedgewood Boulder Creek

Lauren and Sean got married on a summer afternoon at Wedgewood Boulder Creek in Colorado. The two were so excited to celebrate their love and start their journey of marriage together, surrounded by all of their friends and family.

Getting Ready for the Wedding Day

The morning started off at Ember Salon, where Lauren and her bridesmaids rented out the place to get ready. The girls were so much fun, dancing and pumping up Lauren for the big day ahead. After everyone was ready, they headed to Wedgewood Boulder Creek to get ready for the ceremony.

A storm was coming in, however the timing ended up being perfect. We beat the rain by about 15 minutes, and it didn’t start until after the ceremony and all of the photos had finished up! That was a huge blessing, and we were able to capture everything perfectly without having to be soaked by the incoming rain!

Wedding Reception at Wedgewood Boulder Creek

Luckily, the reception was already planned to be indoors at the Wedgewood Boulder Creek reception hall, which was decorated with flowers, and photos of the couple from their engagement session. Guests chatted over dinner, and danced the night away. At the end of the evening, when the rain finally let up, Lauren and Sean invited guests to head outside for their grand exit. The bride and groom had a sweet and intimate last dance together, completely alone. I absolutely love when couples do this! It’s such a great way to snag a moment together, and really gives the couple a change to take a deep breath after all the excitement and craziness from the day.

The grand exit was so much fun, as Lauren and Sean had purchased these fun light up inflatable balls for everyone to throw around as they left the venue. It made for some really fun photos, and a unique way to end the night!

We were so thankful to capture the day and celebrate along side of this sweet couple. Congratulations to the bride and groom!
